Welcome to SR. By coming here I can see you are accepting the fact you need help. We all do. My journey involves a WE program. I have accepted the fact I have alcoholism and asked for help.
I had to get rid off all my dealers phone numbers right away. And make sure the house had no drugs and alcohol in it. I chose to go the AA route.
The main things keeping me sober today are desire to stay stopped for ME, reliance on people in my life, and willingness to keep teachable and try suggesstions, the positive ones.
