raw nerve fest or what?
Man. I am moody and irritable and it's not pms. It's like some kind of hair trigger - it is taking barely anything to irritate me. Now granted some of the stuff IS probably genuinely irritating but still.
that's all, just writing about it. not much to say really
Me too? Me too???
and kin we hav hot coco wif marfmellows an sum fwosted cookees befor bed???
I'm just a grumpy b!tch tonite too. MORE so cuz I can't go to bed yet, have to finish getting the 5 grand-daughters gifts put together - then wrap them in festive white garbage bags (cuz that's all I got)
I think I'd kill for some nice FUDGE right now!

Man that sounds good!
I got my 'sugar fix' earlier tonite at son's house - the 3 older g-girls all decorated cookies especially for me (1/2" of frosting and another 1/4" of colored sugar) - annnnnnnnnd - a box of chocolate covered cherries! mmm mmmmmmmmmmm!
Wanna trade some???

Hey it's Christmas, you're entittled to feel however you feel. I'm at work till midnight. Really want to get home to the kids. Have to eat too much of this good home cooked food at work tonight. Alas :elfball Going to get more fudge myself from the breakroom.
FUDGE! Everyones' eatin' fudge but ME!!! wahhhhhhh - lol
I used to BEG my boss to puh-leeeeze schedule me for both Thanksgiving AND Christmas so I'd have an excuse to NOT go to the in-law's drunken brawl - (wistful sighs - ahhhhh - the bad ol' days!!)
The big perk of having to work those holidays was the FOOD + GOODIES that everyone would bring in! MMMM MMMMM!
Rookknight - will you + your kids have Christmas tomorrow then?? When my son was going up + I was a single mom, we only actually celebrated Christmas ON Dec. 24 or 25 ONCE. Whatever works!
Blessings,
Blue

That particular passage has been my absolute favorite in the big book since I first read it almost 14 years ago!
It's kept me from totally falling apart more times than I could possibly count.
It never fails to amaze me how when I tend to forget it, there is always someone there to remind me.
Thank you!

Hey Bluemoon, No I had to be at work at 3:30pm so I got most of the day with them. We got up at 6am and went wild with the Santa stuff. The magic was very much there and I thought at the time to really enjoy it because it really is precious and fleeting. My kids are the greatest. Thanks.
