Here I go again
Here I go again
Stopping tomorrow with a friend and my partner for company.
The insane thing is I've done it alllll before. The last time I started again it was because we had no bathroom, sewerage pipes leaking at all of their many joints and then......dah, dah, dahhhhhh.... the bath arrived.
I could take it (and peeing in the back garden) no more.
Course, smoking a fag helped all of it, didn't it? LOL.
I have the feeling that I'm going to sprout horns overnight and be the grumpiest person in the university.
Tell me it's worth it????

Hi Jane - it's definitely worth it! I quit last Tuesday (35 year smoking history) and already I feel better. First 2/3 days was really hard. I've quit in the past and started again for various reasons, basically all I needed was any excuse - I really want to be successful this time. I've had no cravings for the past few days and feel really good. I'm using the patch and find it helpful. Good luck to you - keep us posted on how you're doing!
11 hours and the nicotine chewing gum is still intact in my bag.
Singing very loudly in the car helps but unfortunately I can't do it here at work.
Actually I feel quite good, I would have had 5 or 6 smokes for breakfast by now.
Hooray!
ARGHHHHH
Jane (Jeckyl) and later, Hyde

On day 3 with ya Jane....yeah GGggrrrrr, baaarrrrr! You're doing so well, there's no harm in picking up that chewing gum....or are you being deterred that once you start chewing it, you won't be able to smoke then even if couldn't beat the craving and wanted to?? I had my patches in a box for a year, because of this very reason. On Sunday, after feeling ill and breathless, I bit the bullet and put it on. It's been a weird few days, but I am feeling much better already, apart from the sweats. Go for it, use what you need to, it's gonna be so worth it for both of us to beat this sucker...well, a case of life or death really! GGGrrrrrrrrrrr all you want! Show the city (Glasgow) of smokers how strong ya are. Good Luck from London!. Michelle.
