could you all say a prayer for me today, I start a new job and I am very nervous right now, this will be the first job I have ever had without going in hungover. So this is a new experience for me. I know I can do this and I want to be strong but boy my nerves are shot right now. I didnt get much sleep last night and i am also very tired.

Oh by the way this is interesting, I lost my last job December 28 and start my new job on September 28 so I was unemployed for exackly 9 months lol.

Awesome!!! I hope that you find the inner peace needed to start off on the right foot as you go to your new job.
I don't know if you're the praying type...but I'd definitely take a little while to just be quiet, meditate, pray that you are given the power to go to your job with the right mind set. Nervousness is normal, but it doesn't have to be over-consuming and I hope that some of that tension is released as you begin to take this career change starting out just like everyone else...one foot in front of the other, one day at a time.

You will be great. I remember by first job sober, I was scared...terrified LOL. but it turned out to be one of the best jobs I ever had, learned so much with a clear head and made of on my best friends still today.

Just keep doing the next right thing.

I just got home and it went great, was only there for 3 hours but hey its the start of new beginnings.
