introductions

I've been viewing this sight for almost a month and decided it was time to introduce myself to the community. Anyways, I've been in recovery for almost 4 years now (thanks to my Higher Power). Addiction took me from illusions of being Scarface, to being homeless, to Max Security prisons. Today my insanity has been removed and I no longer live to use or use to live. The gifts I have received from recovery sometimes blow my mind away. But I work very hard and am very greatful for all I have received. And my journey is just now starting.

Hey Unspunanddone! What a GREAT intro! I loved the "Scarface to homeless to prison" statement. I sure have heard a lot of shares in NA that have that same path and outcome. It's so nice to have another NA family member here to share and grow with. So glad you've joined! I'm sure we can learn a lot from your experiences and recovery. And wow, four years! That's awesome!
