Sorry i haven't been around much, I've been doing alot of reading, though. Mostly, just quietly trucking along, doing what works for me. Hard to believe I've been off dope for 5 months - time flys! Soon, I'll be celebrating another anniversary -6 months as a married woman.

I never imagined this life - sober, married and happy.

Thanks to all of you who have provided me with your support, encouragment and wisom. Special thanks to Becky, Eddie, Jane, Time4Change and Evanna for thier invalueable love and friendship thru the last months!

To any newcomer reading this thread: If I can do it, you CAN! I was a mess for 15 years before I found this site. It gave me the courage to face my addiction and let my secrets out. Once it's no longer a secret, it loses power. If you want to recover - you can, no matter how impossible it seems right now....

Thanks again you guys for everything! I'm gonna make it!

Wow! You have TWO WONDERFUL events to celebrate so I will also say CONGRATS on your 6-month wedding anniversary as well and here's to many, many more!!

You really sound good and we are all so proud of you! I knew you could do this though and those first posts seem so long ago! Wouldn't it be neat if we all could have known "way back when" what we know now? Yeah, but I guess there is the process we have to endure in order to get to this point so in everything there is a reason. {Humm...does that make sense? LOL! I hope so! }
