Last week an article in the local paper caught my eye. Or, rather a picture in the paper caught my eye - 2 doctors from the local walk in clinic that I knew quite well. Ever since I moved here, I had heard about these 2 docs, the kind that would give you anything...I admit, I visited a few times when I was desperate for opiates. A little whining about back back pain and 'poof' a script for 29 loritabs...might as well mention my sore muscles and get myself 29 somas...

Anyhow, turns out the addict population was not the only group aware of these liberal prescribers...cops had been conducting a sting, walking in and slapping doen $60 and getting any pain pill they requested (always in lots of 29 pills - I guess there is some legal threshold there..)

So, the docs got popped an are looking at serious jail time. One in particular is really cooked - his pill prescriptions for oxys and roxys were found at more death scenes than all other doctors combined...yikes.

just thought i's share whats happenin in one small beach community on the east coast...

I just wonder why, despite thier 'reputation' the continued to do it...

You know you are a pill addict when...

You see these guys in the paper and think:
"Dang, my dealer just got arrested."

Been there with a doc of my own. He got whiff of the DEA and moved before they could bust him
