A Declaration of Unity & I Am Responsible
A Declaration of Unity & I Am Responsible
A Declaration of Unity
This we owe to A.A.'s future; to place our common welfare first;
to keep our Fellowship united. For on A.A. unity depend our lives,
and the lives of those to come.
I Am Responsible...
When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help,
I want the hand of A.A. always to be there.
And for that:
I am responsible.

Thanks for being there for me Patsy

I really like that thought and all the AA members who make it action.

thanks, me 2 and I've found some of the best help we have in AA is passing folks on to those more equipped with their specific problem. Thus, the first part of this Thread being A Declaration of Unity.
Are you an alcoholic looking for some help?

And that damn trouble maker Bill W.:
"“Our membership ought to include all who suffer
from alcoholism. Hence we may refuse none who
wish to recover. Nor ought A.A. membership ever
depend upon money or "Conformity"
I LOVE that guy!

Bill didn't seem like that much of a troublemaker from my perspecitive. Seemed that in a balance with long form of Tradition Three instead of only part of it the solution is made quite clear. However some who piecemeal his words to hide their own motives and actions may seem troublesome in a way to me personally. Even then, those are some of our best teachers in AA, other organizations & societies, as well as the outside world itself.
