Another funny thing heard at a meeting
I just had to share this with you recovering Alcoholics and see if you agree.
We had a newcomer in my Al-Anon meeting recently who said:
"Why did Jesus have to turn water into wine? If he hadnt of done that, Id have no problems today".
Basically, she thinks, as any newcomer might, that alcohol is the problem, and if Jesus didnt create alcohol, she'd be fine.
She also added that she'd like to live on an island where there is no alcohol and very few people, so she would behappy.
I sat in gratitude that I am where I am today.
PS..I didnt even know that Jesus did that? Did he? LOL

Even more amazing is that this woman KNEW this story! Once again showing how many are exposed to Christianity.
