welcome to SR it truely is the place to be like cleanlady says. however to improve your chances of overcoming this addictive behavior maybe you should look into a 12 step program (which ever suits you best. not knowing your story and all). i know in A.A. they helped me sooo much i just love it there!!

Hello Littlebopeep--Welcome to SR! Glad you are here. Make yourself at home. My name is Laura and I am a recovering alcoholic. I can assure you anything you may have done is no worse than the things we have done. Hang in there, and keep posting!

Hugs--

Hey there...I wanted to welcome you as well.
I'm the type of person who honestly believes that everything happens for a reason...and that you were guided here for a purpose. I hope that you find the peace you're looking for in this forum as well as whatever recovery route you choose to pursue. Like others have said, checking out something like a 12-step program would be a great starting place.
There IS another way to go and living life on life's terms completely sober is a beautful existence!!!

Again, welcome!

Danielle

welcome littlebopeep..the insanity of our disease is trying the same things over and expecting different results..i tried sooo many times to clean up...ya know, saying i'll never do it again...that's it I quit...i too thought i was going crazy,,sick and tired of being sick and tired. I think we're all a little crazy...goes hand in hand with my disease.
2 detox's and 3 treatment centers, i accepted that i am an addict, alcoholic and surrendered...316 days later i'm still crazy but one day at a time, with help from my friends in the program and here at SR i'm learning to live sober. I have a smile on my face today. Keep coming back!!!
