Spring air or freedom

I have had some very peaceful days, It has been so quite at my home. I feel like dancing, it feels so light and airy, and free.

I am enjoying every minute of peace.

My H called lastnight, he is very sad about his dad, I just listened. He is going to be out of town till next Sunday, and he told me lastnight he couldnt stay at his dad's anymore, he had to go back to his unlce's, it was too sad for him to stay at his dads. His dad is so sick, he has not had a beer in 20 days.

His dad is dying of bone cancer, that was his purpose of going there, I told him to do whatever he wants, but he should value every minute he has with his dad.

I dont get why he would leave his dad's house and go back to the farm with his uncle, when his sole purpose for going there was to spend time with his ill father.

But that is none of my business. I am going to continue to enjoy my time.

By the way, my brother is stabilizing, he is still on a ventilator, but improving some.

I think it's a combination of both - spring air and freedom.

I tend to get cabin fever over the winter. When the spring air hits and its warm and sunny, I always feel a bit more free and happy.

Also, you have peace and quiet b/c he's not there . That, I'm sure, gives you a sense of freedom and peace also.

My AH went to Florida for 2 weeks a couple years ago....up until now, those were the best two weeks of my life. It was awesome.

Enjoy it!!!

I can't wait for some Spring air - the rest of this week is supposed to be around 65 degrees & I have Thurs & Fri off Yippee!!

Glad to hear about your brother!

Just a hunch but it is very difficult for some (me included) to be around someone so ill - My dad passed away from Brain Cancer 4 years ago & it was difficult to be around him during that time - seeing him SO very ill...
