He just called me at work and asked me for the doctors phone number. I asked him if anything is wrong, and he said "No, I just need my check up" I said are you sure? You never go to the doctor. He stuck to his story! Can't even be honest with me!

cup - sometimes i think that is more of a man thing - heaven forbid that anything is wrong with them, but when there is we are supposed to play mommy and most of them become such babies! hang in there!

I didn't say anything last night about it till he brought it up. He said that he called the doctor because he thinks his blood preasure is high! And that he couldn't get in for a month. He also told me last night that he wasn't feeling well. The thing is, he ALWAYS calls me to make his appointments FOR him.

If he hasn't been drinking, then his blood pressure could very well be high right now b/c of the withdrawals. I can't believe his doctor wouldn't see him for a month! Time to get a new dr!

sorry cup - didn't get back to answer the question til now - i thought maybe good changes and maybe he is trying in his own way to stop but of course, we know, unless they are REALLY commited and get into some type of support program it won't last - and by your later post, looks like that was the case.
