Can I just ask, what traits make someone toxic? I have a sort of ‘frenemy’ (which I think is the same sort of thing). The problem I find is that they seem and act ‘supportive’, but on the other hand plant seeds and secretly I think they want me to fail at sobriety.

Sorry, not trying to derail your thing! I was just wondering what your toxic friend was doing? And how did you finally give them the ‘eff off’ tablet?

I have a toxic friend who I know always felt she didn't have a problem because I was worse than her. She tries to come across as supportive but I know she would be more than happy if I drank. I think toxic people who really aren't comfortable with your sobriety probably drift away over time.
