Depression after eating

I binge drink, and during periods of sobriety I get depressed after eating, has anybody experienced this and know of a possible solution.

It's probably depression from the after effects of drinking rather than the eating. It takes weeks for our brains to recalibrate. I know it takes a good few weeks for my drepssion and anxiety to reduce when I stop drinking

I went into bouts of depression as well after I stopped drinking. I firmly believe it's my OCD that said dude you are missing your usual routine of drinking. Alcoholic brain is much more complex as we have two different states of existence. Alcohol messed up my brain and the clarity towards many thngs came up slowly. I worked with my doctor as well and that greatly helped as did running and expressing gratitude.

I feel a little down after I eat. I think it is a blood sugar thing. Our bodies don't process things that well after we have abused our systems with alcohol. It should subside with continued abstinence.

Welcome to SR Panthony.

Sobriety will help with depression and other stuff. Perhaps after eating your depression becomes more acute? IDK.
