i have to get bone marrow biopsy
Hello again Everyone , i hope you are all well i have covid at the moment also found out that i have to go and get
A bone marrow biopsy, i am waiting until i don't test positive for covid , still don't want to drink or take drugs over this, in fact it makes me more determined not to , i will not let something like this make me go back to something that wasn't helpful at all.

Lily - I'm sorry you're having those health issues.
I agree - staying clear headed is what we need to do during times like these. (I once felt just the opposite. )
Congrats on your sobriety.

Glad you're staying sober. Dealing with scary medical issues is bad, but it's so much worse while drinking... anesthesia doesn't work properly when your liver is in drinking mode, not to mention the generally toxic effects alcohol has on your body. Sorry you're going through this, but I'm glad you're not doing it drunk!

Get well soon with the COVID and best wishes with your bone marrow procedure.
I like your determination to remain sober during what I can imagine will be stressful times.

Sorry to hear about the bone marrow biopsy. Sounds scary. I am glad you are not going to drink over it. Well done!
I managed to dodge it for 30+ months, but I also currently have Covid. Biggest issue thus far is impact to my sleep. I am taking 150% of the recommended dose for OTC cold meds and it won't clear my sinuses. Hard to use a CPAP without a functioning nose! Slept about 4 hours/night last 2 nights in my reclining chair so I could sit partially upright. That seemed to help a little.
Hope you have a speedy recovery!
