Join The Welcoming Committee.
Join me in welcoming newcomers to SoberRecovery with a "Welcome" message. Of course, you can welcome people in your own way. The idea is to show the newcomer that plenty of SR members are glad they joined us in our journey to sober wellness.
Thank you for your participation.
Blessed Be All

I hope all of you find this forum to be a rewarding positive experience. This community has been one of the greatest tools for my recovery. If your hesitant to post or reach out just know we have all been there before. You are not alone!

Welcome to SR! This is a safe, friendly place where you can find answers to hard questions and support in challenging situations. The community here saved my life, and it can help you, too. We are glad you found us!
WELCOME!
I've been here for over 7 and a half years. I can say without reservation that SR has helped me to maintain my sobriety since I joined in January of 2015.
I have made lasting friends.
There's always someone here if you are struggling, have questions, or just want to talk.

Thank you for all the responses. That is great and helps me stay sober.
I did not make myself clear so I apologize for that....LOL, I can be a dingbat at times. (Halloween corny humor, chuckle, chuckle)
I'm going to take on the task of an "unofficial SR greeter in the Newcomers to Recovery forum." Please join me. If you see a newcomer in the Newcomers to Recovery forum drop by their post to say hello. Or if a post in Newcomers to Recovery has few responses, perhaps a post to encourage them. When a bunch of members replies to one of my posts, I feel greatly appreciated and that feels very good especially if I'm struggling. Not saying everyone is not doing a good job here at SR, just had to say what said and I thank you from the depths of my heart for helping me stay sober ODAAT

I think everyone who posts in Newcomers for any length of time is an 'unofficial greeter', Zen - this Forum community is great for answering new posts
Our official greeters - least and Hevyn - do a great job too!
