One Month Sober
So lately when I make threads it's the morning after I got drunk on hand sanitizer and everyone who replies is telling me to go rehab.
But yesterday I made it to a month sober. My life is a total mess but I am sober. Mostly I'm depending on Antabuse to keep me sober. But I will reach out to SR if I ever think about going off it. I think I may need to be on Antabuse for a very long time. I got my longest sober streak of 101 days with Antabuse and hope to beat that this time.

A word of warning about hand sanitizer - it also contains isopropyl alcohol.
Isopropyl alcohol toxicity can cause ketoacidosis and quickly land you in the emergency room if you're lucky.
It can also cause multiple organ failure and kill you, especially if you're drunk and sedated. You could easily choke on your own vomit.
If you're drinking hand sanitizer because you can't get your hands on typical alcoholic beverages, you are putting yourself at great risk of severe illness or death.
Please don't do that.
But also, congratulations on one month! I am glad you are back, FreedomFries.
Also Antabuse is great. Though back in my active alcoholism days, I just planned my relapse by stopping my Antabuse for a week.
Brilliant, I know.

Way to go Freedomfries.
I feel a lot the same, with life being pretty messy at the moment, but I'm sober and that's all that matters. For it to be otherwise would be nightmarish.
Congratulations on 1 month. It will grow. And so wil you.
