Daily Check In

I did my wellness reading this morning, meditated for 5 min. Yea things are going good. I restarted my health program with a GP Dr appointment and all that testing that goes with it. I was nervous. I used ground and distraction to keep my anxiety down. But I was super fidgety. However "I did it", great boost to my confidence.

I liked reading this post. I have started and completed my days with similar routines for the last 15 years and believe it's helped me settle into a peaceful rhythm. My anxiety, stress, and depression are rarities now rather than the norm.

Wind and dry here in CA. Putting some morning wellness reading in. I like inspirational quotes to read. Short, sweet and straight to the point. Works well with my ADD . Keep it simple yes!

Yes Astro, managing (tool box) mental illness symptoms has helped me loads too. A Psy Dr. once told me that the medication is only half of the treatment. Learn coping strategies, CBT counseling and group participation is the other half of treatments. That's where my 'tool box' comes handy. Setting just a little time aside each day to go over 'tool box' work has really helped me. I'm a continuing work in progress not perfection. Simple. Do the work get the rewards.
