I’m so smart
Hi BABM. Yes, I too fell down recently, but with a little help from SR I’m up again and making a new start. My advice would be to get back on the bus now, because it will get more difficult the longer you wait. Those 27 days will not be wasted if you take action now. You have my support.
You’ve been giving amazing support to many people for the past four weeks or so. Now sponge up some of the support that’s available here each day and get going again.

Yup, we have all fallen and it sucks. Get yourself up though and start over. One of these times it will stick and you will get to where you want to go.
Rest, re-hydrate and take care of yourself today. Sending you some love BABM

You are not **** (I don't know what you said but I can guess ). That is pure and simple the alcohol telling you that.
Alcohol is a depressant and it's extremely addictive. If you put it into your body often enough you will be depressed and addicted. That isn't your fault, its the drug and it's what it does to all of us.
Only one thing you can do - stop putting it in your body. That you CAN do, at least for today.
Those 27 days are not wasted, you know you can do this, hopefully you'll also be able to see what went wrong?

Hi BABM. You have to keep trying my friend. The only other option is just too grim. You've been there and you know. Can you stay sober today? When are your kids coming again? With the kids and your furry companions, you have many creatures who depend on you being healthy and present for them. Also, when you are sober you are such a significant source of support here on SR, and I'm sure in other real and online places. Take care of yourself today BABM.
I'm not sure where you're at in Arizona BABM, but there's a very strong recovery community out there. Especially in the greater Phoenix area and Prescott. Tons of young, sober adults in there 20s and 30s.

BABM, what are you going to do differently, next time you have the thought, that a drink will be a solution?
I've read many of your supportive posts on SR recently, maybe you could read them and maybe you can enact your own advice?

You are here, that's a demonstration of the piece of you, a significant piece, that wants sobriety. Regardless of the times you pick up, it's clear you have that light inside of you that wants a life of freedom and control - a life you deserve. Put it down again. Do the work. Hold your kids in your mind and the father you most want to be - that leverage worked for me and many others. Nice job getting back.
