Congrats on day 8!
Don't worry about it right now things take time to adjust/change.
My goal was and is not drinking now and trust the reset will kind-of take care of itself. I also accept most "things" related to my discomforts because I caused it by drinking.
YMMV
Good Luck!

i’ve quit before but this time is hard and my body feels worse. Might just because it is.... got my ultrasound on my liver on the 4th July 😳
It was like that for me, too. It's called kindling. You can google 'alcoholic kindling' to learn about it, but basically it's how the cumulative effect of alcohol withdrawal causes worsening symptoms.
But, hang in there and know that you can get through this.

Al, could it be that you are sleeping too much? That is a long time to be in bed. I know this may seem counterintuitive at this point but its a thought. Also, you might just not be getting that good restful sleep yet as withdrawals are still in the way. Of course if you keep it up that will change for the better.
