Smallest of Victories!!!

Thought I'd share this and hopefully it encourages and helps others here at SR. So I had a doctor's appointment and left after liquor stores were closed. I didn't plan it this way but my AV told me that my appointment time sucked. I told my AV to shut up. It did. On the way home I had to stop at a grocery store to get toilet paper, cat litter and cat food. At the end of one of the aisles I spotted the beer and wine and the AV just jumped right into action. I talked it down. I told it to shut up. I reminded myself why I'm doing this and distracted myself by continuing to shop. And then I just rode out the craving and like a cresting wave it just passed within maybe two to three minutes at most. And then off I went to the cashier. Drove home. It felt soooooo good!!!

It was an amazingly satisfying feeling and something much needed when you're really just starting out. Motivation!
