I think I beat winter - 99 days - 100 days tomorrow
I picked the worse time of the year for where I live to quit alcohol is what I figure myself. I'm stuck inside on many days due to the weather alone. It got down to -21F this year or -20F so it wasn't as cold here as last year. It got really cold last winter. It got down to -42F / -43F last year.
Roughly a week ago it was -21F at night.
I can't tell what time is easier to quit, but I think winter has it's time where all you want to do is drink at times and be warm.
We are back at the normal 20s-40s for now. It should be around 30 degrees each day for one more month before it starts hitting the 40s or 50s and the snow melts by April 15th or so.
It's not fun when the high is around -1F and there's nothing you can really do outside, but I think I beat winter just fine.
March 15th and I think the time will start to pass.
Sometimes it's not the drinking it's just the weather that gets to me and kind of makes not drinking more difficult at times.
