Can l please ask....?

Im away on a holiday with my dog (as l do quite often). So hubby gas had 4 days of doing what he likes.
He came over for the day today, and took me for lunch. He sat there sweating...his hands were a bit unsteady. After lunch we did a short walk then he said he was returning home, hardly worth the visit really..only with me just over 4 hours. He rang later to say he had got back home and felt ill...sick dizzy weak etc. Am l correct in thinking these may be symptoms of the first day without drink after a 4 day binge? He started to feel 'better' a couple of hours after bring back home...

Well you have described "standard" withdrawal accurately and if he started drinking I'm sure he's feeling better - so.

Is he claiming he's not drinking now?

Glad you are having a break again Awal.

And a very nice break it is too trailmix. Fresh air in the countryside.
We dont discuss his drinking/not drinking, l just get on with my life and he gets on with his. No more searching, measuring, watching...my life and what l do with it is much more interesting. I just thought it a coincedence that his illness from nowhere came on a day that he had to refrain from drinking for a few hours. Hope all is good with you x

I'd say your intuition is spot on.

Doing well and just finishing up what was a busy work day!
