Back again
Hi guys & gals......Another 'back again post', sorry I know it's the same bloody story!!!
So I was last here end of August, lasted a week or so then picked up...why, because I'm selfish!! So this time for me was hideous, probably the worst I've been.
I drank around my kids & called in sick to work, these r things I have not done before, ashamed as hell, totally mortified.
This behaviour I know will continue to get worse & my family deserve for me to be present & not in the states that I get in!!
So I'm 11 days sober, watching addiction documentaries, listening to recovery podcasts & trying to take 1 day at a time & giving the middle finger to moderate drinking!!!
I'll be coming here several times a day as I know the support here is amazing!!!🙌

Glad you made it back loulou….
To be successful in our own recovery, we have
to stay connected to our recovery lifelines and
support. That is what Ive done and continue to
do for the past 29 yrs to achieve sobriety and a
strong recovery foundation to live my life upon
each day I remainsober.
Just knowing you, we, us never have to be alone
or try to figure out things on our own or by ourselves
again is comforting.
Sending you support, care and understanding
as you begin building your own strong recovery
foundation to live your life upon for yrs to come.
Like me and countless other members living in
recovery, we never have to pick up a drink or drug
again as long as we hold on to those lifelines
and continue to incorporate helpful learning
tools and knowledge of addiction and recovery
in our everyday life.
SR is an amazing lifeline to start with.
