AW 2 Months Sober!

It has been a while since my last post. I just want to let the world know that my AW has been home from rehab for 4 weeks now and she received her 2 month sober chip last week. She goes to at least 5 AA meetings per week and I go to my Al-Anon meeting weekly and study my books daily.
It hasn’t been easy for me but by working my Al-anon program and lots of time in prayer I feel like I have changed for the better. My AW is working so hard and I pray that she will continue to progress and be a one chip wonder. Hang in there folks!

This is good news...

...it feels really good when they sustain sobriety and, for me, it also created a situation where I was so hopeful and so happy that when things started to back slide I back slid in my program too, and was in denial about her relapsing.

My hope for you is that she makes it, but also that you will stay strong enough in your program that, even if she doesn't, you will have the tools to handle it properly and continue to get better.

Best,

C-

Good luck, IMMW!

Each day of recovery is something that can help us allow more good, authentic connections.
