New member here!

Hi guys, just stumbled upon this website as I was searching for feedback about my current situation. My bf is in a 9 month rehab & tomorrow will be 6 weeks. He is no longer allowed to write me letters as 6 guys just left in the past week. He can still write his mom & he put a letter to me in it. He said he misses me so much & to please let him know how I'm doing. I miss him so much too. I attend weekly alanon meetings which definitely have been helping.

Hi and welcome itswellwithmysoul

I know it must be hard right now but I'm really impressed with your bfs commitment to a long programme.

I hope that, before you know it, the 9 months will be up. I imagine he'll be able to legitimately send you letters again at some stage too?

You'll find a ton of support here too and in our Family and Friends forums too

Good morning . good for him for trying to better his life..... Long as he is doing it for himself feel me. Cause if not he is setting himself up for failure. Do the right thing the rest will follow. Iwndwyt

I hope you stand by this man as he tries his best to get a better life. It will be over in no time and you will both be in a better place. Best of luck to both of you.

It's always great when someone commits to save themselves

Yea, thats a long one, and you are awesome. Nothing is better than having a nice, strong, supportive better half. My best wishes to the both of you in the future.
