Good morning my fellow sober brothers and sisters . Hope all is well. Kind of slept in today. 6am yes that is sleeping in. Good thing my mama is an early riser as well. Btw. For the newbies sleep is so golden when in recovery. And I mean the good sleep not the alcohol induced sleep that is more passing out than going to bed. As you get more sober time under your belt . Well you just have to find out for yourself. .....if you want it. I am on day 63. Me and mama already went and did our errands for the day. Home by ten. Gonna clean my grill and cook some pub burgers. For lunch. Again I want to give all honor and glory to my higher power for guiding me on my journey. I am forever grateful. On day 26, I was up early too and enjoyed a much needed afternoon nap. It was so refreshing! Love getting sober rest, it's almost like I've not slept properly in years...well probably haven't because of the drink!
