Haven't been around for a while but thought I'd drop in. Still sober and doing well. I never thought I'd reach this point., but here I am. I don't miss alcohol. I still get the odd temptation to have a beer but I quickly remember the abuse I put myself through and it's enough to kill the temptation.

I recently lost an uncle to alcohol. He'd gone past the point of no return and had developed dementia as a result of the alcohol abuse.
