Day 155
first day of my sixth month. Wow !! Can t believe it some days iv managed so many days. It's becoming normal now that I just don't drink , cravings are weaker and weaker , less anxious, less stress, less over thinking , life is easier overall. I find a daily routine is a huge help to me i.e. Simple things like getting up at same time but it definitely does get easier , cravings DO pass , boredom does pass , Keep Going is my new mantra and good luck to everyone and happy new year.
Huge congratulations on 155 days!
I'm half way through day 153 and totally agree with you that it's just normal that I don't drink now. I went to a house party yesterday and the thought of drinking the prosecco, tequila, rum and other drinks didn't appeal to me at all. Thinking about how they taste actually turned my stomach. I think I now associate them with a loss of control, which is a very unappealing thought after 153 days of having full control of my thoughts and actions.

Awesome!! PAssing 100 was so great for me- and then adding tens, as I thought of it, even better.
I love what Nerf said too - "day 153 and a half" - keep going and marking that time in numbers was a great thing for me, too.
You said it - "keep going!"
