Then don’t, even if you want to with everything you’ve got.

Use everything you’ve got to not drink, even if it feels like you want to with everything you’ve got. You can do this, you don’t want to drink.

I didn't drink today. That's an accomplishment.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I don't plan on drinking.
You can do the same. One day at a time.

I take it you didn't drink today. That's an accomplishment. Drinking tomorrow, and we never know if we'll even be alive, will be another accomplishment.
It's a battle, I know. But don't plan today about drinking tomorrow.
Wait till it gets here. You have a choice.
Make it another accomplishment by not drinking tomorrow. If we wake up breathing, we have a choice.
Please don't choose to drink.
What is there to gain? Regret? Remorse? Anxiety? A sense of failure?
You have a choice.
Please make the right decision.

You'll stay sober when you want to be sober more than you want to drink. It's as simple as that. Not easy, but simple.

Learn as much as you can about addiction
and it's affects on your own body even if it
mean having someone teach it to you.

For many, when we entered recovery thru
a rehab hospital, facility, we were placed into
the hands of those capable of teaching us
with the knowledge they had on addiction
and recovery.

With this knowledge and program of recovery
we then began to incorporate it in our everyday
life on a continuous bases each and everyday
moving forward in our life.

There can be no question that one day we
would be able to drink successfully because
if it hasn't worked by now, it never will.

Remove the obsession to drink and replace
it with a program of recovery and then you
will begin to see and feel the results as you
build a strong solid recovery foundation to
live upon achieving success and many amazing
gifts to appreciate and be forever grateful
for.

Your journey and success in recovery
begins the day you accept that alcohol
and or drugs is off the table one and for
all.

You had a very good list of things you were going to do last time you were here pressme - have you been doing them all? If not just start at the top of the list and keep going down

From your own post
Hmmm..
Checking in with a spindsp daily
rehab
Daily meetings
Remorse
Sober softball
Willingness to set aside my ego
Not thinking. Just doing.
Making an agreement to stop
Naltrexone
Praying (to whatever)
Gratitude lists
Reading from one day at a time
Journaling daily
Exercise
Not reading the news

I think least has got it in one , if your like me and end up drunk every time you drink , then the only choice I have is either be Drunk or be Sober , I choose sober , so I won t drink today , On my first day sober I actually gave up drinking for 3 hours , that got me to lunchtime, I then said I'd go till dinner time and so on , it's tricky but the rewards far outshine any crappy days , It Can Be Done .
