Mandatory 12-Step Program for all--a little off topic
Have you noticed since you've been working a recovery program, that you've become a more compassionate, sincere, kind person?
Does it seem like most people you see when you're out (grocery store, mall, etc) are unhappy and irritable?
Is it b/c we have invested a lot of time and hard work into the "stuff" that made us unhappy and irritable, and we are happy(ier)?
I'm not saying I'm better than anyone else, but while I was out shopping today it occurred to me that we should ALL have to work the 12-steps--can you imagine the difference if everyone knew what we know?

I find the 12-Steps works for anything in my life, not just my codependency. It's a spiritual program that teaches me to stay balanced and helps me improve my life. And yes, I agree, the principals would work wonders in most people's lives.
