Holiday

5 months in and on holiday with the family.

First day yesterday, tired and hungry.

It was tough. But, still sober and enjoying the sun today. Much easier now day 1 is out of the way!

Phew.

Holidays are tough, especially beachy type resorts, as everyone seems to be drinking 24/7. But it is so rewarding when you come through it, and I always find it amusing seeing all the hungover people each morning and feeling very glad I wasn't one of them! Congrats on the 5 months.

Congratulations! Doesn’t it feel great to be where you are? Able to go on trips and not cave in? I am proud of you. I too had to endure a “beachy” vacation filled with drinks, and it was really early in my sober journey so, I know what you endured buddy. Yay! Cheers (with coffee) to many many more.
