Thanks everybody, life is still such a work-in-progress. Some days you come down from the high of the work you've done to be sober because there's so much more to take care of now that you are.

What a change it is to go from just cleaning up messes, trying to do the bare minimum to get by.. to actually being your true, real self; being truly present for your family; dreaming big, thinking deeply; to setting goals and accomplishing them. As the sober months have gone by, energy, and true joy, multiplies.
The voice still pops up, but it becomes more of an annoyance than a threat.
Keep on going!
