40 days, 40 nights, sober
Feels pretty good. Regardless of pangs or frustrations or AV chatter, I've never been more certain about never drinking again.
Crushing it in the gym. Procrastinating at work. 41yo as of a couple days ago. Baby girl on the way in a month.
Life is life - but it's all more manageable, interesting, simple, valuable, full, sober.
Not huge on counting days, but I am looking forward to getting into the 50s. I've never been sober that long since I was a teenager.

Less!!!! Such great news to share!!!! You are so much one of my favorite people! I am beyond happy for you! Congratulations and I hope and pray for your family to be healthy and happy with you fully engaged in their lives! Wonderful that you share with us.

Congratulations on the upcoming baby girl! I have two little princesses of my own. I missed out on their first few years because I was drunk or high or both, escaping from my new reality. I do regret that so much but it's what made me get sober now before they got too much older. Still 5 and 3 so I didn't miss everything. Enjoy the baby time. It's a lot of work and little sleep but you'll wish they could stay babies forever.
