Just wanted to do a quick post to encourage everyone that if you are feeling the urge to drink, the AV chatter is taking over and shouting at you please try and post here first before picking up. There is no shame in reaching out!

The SR community are here 24/7, we all care, many of us will come to your aide, you don't have to suffer this and fight it alone. We will encourage you to take a moment and hopefully help you see there is a better way in your darkest moments and you are strong and worth saving, worth fighting for!

When the AV shouts, the SR community will band together and shout back louder, stonger, harder, more powerful and drown out that nonsense AV talk with you if you let us.

Thank you for posting this MantaLady. When that voice is screaming and trying to drown everything else out it is easy to forget the resources available. This site and all who are on here are beyond wonderful.

AVRT taught me how to stop the AV dead in it's tracks. It's a thought experiment that teaches you to seperate the AV from your own voice so you can shut it down. It's worth taking a look at, google should help you find it. The crash course is short and enlightening.
