Little victories

Yesterday was my birthday. A big trigger for me, as I never was one to take my birthday off work, but rather the day after so I could nurse my hangover. I always got obliterated on my birthday. All day yesterday my buddies were texting and calling, asking where I wanted to meet up for drinks. Just over a week in so I haven't really told anybody yet, so I just said I wasn't feeling well. Went to dinner, then hid out in the house. Somewhat isolating, but better than the alternative.

Today I'm grateful that I am not hungover. I woke up feeling pretty good actually. Celebrating little victories
