15 days sober

Hi my names is venessa my husband and i made the decision to quit drinking . in 5 years i have not gone more then 6wks without alcohol. I could drink 12 shots a night and wake up and do what i needed. I had to have a shot before doing anything else when i got off of work. I stopped each day and picked up a bottle every night. Today is 15 day the past 2 day ive been extremely tired. Last night i had a dream about drinking, i woke up in a horrible sweat and ended up being shaky today. Anyways just thought id check this out.

Welcome,Venessa.. Great decision for you and your hubby to make! This site is great and has saved me so many times from going back 'out there'.

Hi Venessa. Drinking dreams will happen, but don't read too much into them. Congrats on two weeks!
