Happy Thanksgiving
Today in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving. Today I will celebrate Thanksgiving with my family in the traditional manner. Today Thanksgiving has a whole different meaning to me. So many things I took for granted in the past, I don't know how to explain it, it wasn't like I didn't care about those things, they were just there, it was part of my life. Today and really everyday since May 5th 2017 I look at things different, I am Thankful.
I know there are a lot of folks out there are having a tuff time, and it's hard to be thankful. If your reading this, you are here because you want to get sober, This can be the first thing you can be Thankful for.
I know this probably doesn't make sense, but this is what's going on in this alcoholic brain. thanks for listening and I wish EVERYONE a Happy Thanksgiving.

I got up (with no hangover
) and went to the gym this morning ~ came home like "Who am I?" 
I'll be working my part time job this afternoon but only for a few hours, then going to have the best Thanksgiving dinner: Pizza!

Purplrks-I was in the gym this morning as well instead of nursing a hangover and was thinking the same...Who am I?

Myself and my two roommates are making traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Turkey is roasting, dressing is made, pie crusts rolled, veggie casserole ready to pop into the oven when the turkey rests.
Roomies are drinking a killer bottle of French champagne I gave them that's left over from my wine collecting days, I'm having sparkling cider. The dogs are scavenging for scraps dropped on the floor. Jazz is playing.
Life is good. It's a good day for gratitude. For friends, family, sobriety. First sober Thanksgiving since I was about 12. I like it better.
We will have enough food for an army!
