Paws?

Hey all, hope you are all well.

Got a question, I'm nearly 5 months sober (in a week or two) and lately I've been feeling super run down and I'm shaking a lot, like a tremble in my stomach face and arms, also feel fluey.

Is it at all possible to suffer PAWS this far along into sobriety?

I've read that symptoms of PAWS can go on for months after initial withdrawal is over. I had trouble concentrating for a while.

It does get better tho. My symptoms stopped bothering me after about a year sober.

Is it possible you've caught the flu? You might be sick for real. If it doesn't get better, see your doctor.

Yeah, it could be the flu. There are outbreaks here in Canada. I hope you feel better ChilledIce.

Thank you, he was totally fine when he woke up, which I wish as an adult I could recover that quickly. I had to stay home with him today because no daycare for 24 hours after an illness.

Jon Pardee is awesome!!! I promised the bf I'd dance with him, haven't done that sober besides with my son in our home, lol

I hope. You feel better quickly!

Hi Chilledice! Have not seen you here for a while. Sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather. We are so close together in sobriety, I am coming up for 5 months on the 25th. I also have a bit of a yo-yo ride with feeling tired, run down, and blah. Not anything near what it was at the start. I am taking a good multi-vitamin and I think this is starting to really help. You may have the flu too. I know that where I am it is here already in full force for the last couple of weeks. Time to lock myself in and hibernate...LOL Feel better soon!
