1 year sober today......
HELLO EVERYONE
I havent posted in sometime and I thought I needed to let everyone here know how grateful I feel that this forum was available to me when I needed it last year. I very rarely think about drinking now when it used to be all I could think about and all I wanted to do last year. It is a terrible disease and I feel if I had just one drink now I would be right back to it full time without even thinking. There is hope and there is life without drinking.

Thank you for sharing that you have made it to a year. This is helpful for me to hear. Helpful that as time goes on there is less thoughts about drinking but there is the need to stay diligent because like you said, one drink and its back to full time.
