New to site
Hi everyone,
I am new to the site, but not new to recovery efforts. I am a very private person, have never used any type of social media and have very little contact with others, by choice, so sharing like this is a real stretch for me. I have tried so many other approaches to recovery on my own and failed, I thought this might give me some insight as to how others succeed, or even fail at recovery. I plan to use the resources on the site also like the articles, etc. Thanks!

Great to meet you, FloridaSoul. I was reluctant to begin posting here when I first joined - but I've been here over 10 yrs. We're all in this together - and we can help each other stay free of it. Welcome!

Welcome Florida
I'm pretty private too.
Took me ages to join SR, kept lurking and reading here for years probably and the thought of baring my soul in a room full of people, well I just couldn't do it.
Friendly, helpful people here. Couldn't have got sober without them.
Hope you stick around.
