9 Months Today
A great big 9 months for me today. This time last year I was living a nightmare. It sometimes feels surreal. My recovery is certainly not easy, but I'm happy, mindful and enjoying life and learning about myself and learning new skills can be enjoyable for me. Life's problems are much easier to deal with sober. Thank you all for being here.

So true - problems are much easier to handle with a clear head. For years I thought I was calming myself down by drinking. It just made me more anxious, foggy, and unable to cope. You're doing great, Notwonderful - congrats on your 9 mos.
