I read that Big Book three times in the first year. Referenced it hundreds of times beyond that, just reading bits and pieces.

It was a great, simple, everyday ACTION that helped me keep my head in sobriety, learn more about alcoholism and recovery, remind me why I'd chosen sobriety, and gave me hope.

The Big Book is like an onion to me. There are layers to it that make more sense to me or seem to strike me more at different phases in my recovery. The 12x12 is my next favorite. I love that as well.

Everything is in the AWESOME Book.

From learning about alcoholism, to
its affects on us, to step by step solutions,
prayers, experiences, strengths and
hopes to teach us how to live a happy,
healthy, sober life one day at a time
building a strong solid foundation for
yrs to come.

There are many of us who have found
success living by the AA program of
recovery and has become our way of
living a sober life.

It's a gift and blessing and it's all
free help and guidance in that book
to last a lifetime.

I helped me. Even if it was just to help me become aware of the FACT I am not alone with alcoholism.
