Thank you everyone for the welcome. (Excuse my stupidness, I may be in the wrong area. I'm battling Meth withdrawal.)
(Yesterday, Day 4. Not a good day at all. Failed to be motivated. Failed to complete any work. Failed to get the nasty voice in my head to shut up.)
Day 5 today. Wow, I didn't think I could eat so much for breakfast. Now feeling a little nauseous, but full. The headache won't go away. It's like the little voice is pounding to get my attention. (OK, you have my attention, but your NOT going to win!!!!!) I'm about to go to work, 3 hours late........... Again.
I don't know if writing this is helping??? I have no one else to talk with, so I assume I'm doing this to help myself become stronger.
Day 5, big step, hurts, my emotions are like a 5 year old girl at the moment, one day at a time.
It does get easier? Doesn't it?

Congratulations on your Day 5, Stompy. I'm so glad you've decided to reclaim your life.
Yes, it gets easier - we promise. Emotions are usually all over the place. We've harmed ourselves rather badly - it takes time to get used to our new normal. It will feel so good to be free of it. You can do this.

Thankyou.
im not very computer literate. Is there a correct place for me to be posting for Meth recovery? I'd like to learn some tips from like substance abuse people.
Although, it has been very reassuring from what I've done / replies so far. Amazing how some little things help a lot.
Thankyou again.
