Why sober is good

I'm a person, not a zombie AV moron- I like to think of the character of crang in turtles- he is just a brain stuck inside a body- without the body, he's useless- just like the AV

Driving the car is an instant pleasure free of the worry of being over the limit, no more paranoia,

Re-connecting with people and investing time into them- asking how my family are, looking forward to time with my daughter now

I can give back to everyone now I've pulled my head out of my backside

Obvious health benefit

Obvious immediate financial gains- just received a pay rise as no longer need to purchase daily dose of poison

I can now work on being a happy individual free of the trapping of alcohol

Balanced mood, logical approach to life, no more chaos, no more dependency on a substance, no more sickness from poison

Every day is a gift, bad or good, I'm here to smash it in full and to the best of my ability- no need to embellish the day with poison- it is the creater of huge chunks of time that equal boredom and procrastination

Relief for everyone around that the poison is gone now

Can now get into bed at a time of choosing, no need to pass out and wake up with a dry mouth sat up on the couch at 4am

Can invest into guitar playing now with the free time

Can invest in relationships with the free time

Can finish my diploma with the free time

Can exercise in the free time

Anyone on the sober path today? Feel free to try any of these things out instead of picking the poison up. See how much better you'll feel
