Day three and the honeymoon is over. lol

I feel like I have been run over by a semi truck, beat with a baseball bat, zero energy, I could hardly walk three miles this morning. I feel like I could eat everything in the house plus the house.
Headaches, sore muscles, confused. but it beats drinking today....
Lots of resting on the couch for me tonight. Good thing there is a good NBA Game on tonight.

Honeymoon hasn't started! Yesterday was my day 3, too and all I did was sleep (after getting out of school at 2 or 3) I couldn't believe it. But I guess it was what my body needed, I feel better today.

Today my issue is thirst, but it HAS TO BE carbonated. I don't want sugar or caffeine this later so I'm gonna run out for a bunch of those sparkling flavored waters.

Just think - if you never drink again, you never have to feel this badly ever again.

Day 5 here and I'm chowing down big time. I've given myself permission to eat whatever sounds good and whenever week 1

Asix,

I love your signature. I think that is the most important thing I had to hold on to when I was struggling with lots of day 7s and not many longer.

I do think it was a bit of a turning point at 8 days, but I couldn't seem to remember that on day 3 ... 4...5 ....

Just hang on to what you know .... there is a light ahead and it's not a train

That third day was always a bitch for me, too. Fourth day, back to the bottle.
Six years now since a day three and I couldn't walk three miles if I tried lol.
It gets better. Just remember, you never have to drink or go through a day three again.
Best to you both.

Good job 6string. Don't deny yourself the food. Eat.

Hang in there Asix, those miles will become easier and easier as time goes by. I ate anything I wanted to eat for the first few weeks. Whatever it takes to move through the withdrawal period. Enjoy the game!
