Silly Maybe.. But I want to share

I just had the most wonderful experience.

Its snowing these big puffy flakes, and I went outside and just stood in the middle of our backyard looking up at the sky. Watching all these flakes floating down, going up as high as I could possibly see they were swirling around and floating down on top of me.

It was so beautiful. And made me happy.

I never want to forget to enjoy the simple things in life ever again.

Ive done too much of that since everything happened with my husband last year.

I hope it keeps snowing. When he gets home Im going to take him out there to stand with me and look up at the sky.

Try it if you can!

It's wonderful that you appreciated the simple beauty of the snowfall. Not silly at all, alicia. I hope husband enjoyed it too.

Wonderful! It reminds me to appreciate the sublime beauty in life. I've only seen snow about 4 times in my life. It was in the 80s today where I live! But I did stop and admire my amaryllis that flowered this week.

Thanks for the reminder for us to take a moment and appreciate the beauty of the world around us.

Tomorrow I will try admiring my flowers. I planted spring bulbs in a pot and have been watching them grow for weeks now. I think one is a red Amaryllis.

Thankfully the snow kept up for a while and my husband got home in time. We looked silly Im sure, but had a good time out there together in the magical snowfall.

Hope everyone can find a simple joy to explore this weekend.

Those kind of snow days were always my favorite. Even in college, I'd come home during winter breaks, and on days like that, I'd bundle up and lay in the backyard to watch the snowflakes come down. This year, DS and I have had to share the area with several moose - no laying the snow, but we could watch out the window.

Thank you for that. It's amazing how these simple moments in life can make you feel so electrified. Me and my qualifier had a brief moment like that late last year. It was like we were in a snow globe. And we just stood there staring up and wishing we could stay right there in that moment just as we were.

Not silly! It's great to have those bring me back to beauty moments. Today is the first day of spring, here the weather is warm and wonderful. While things are not in bloom yet, I appreciate the beautiful weather today.

We normally have a lot more snow than we did this year. I missed those amazingly beautiful moments.

Thank you for sharing!

That sounds wonderful. I didnt live where it snowed, but we used to go on vacation in the winter to places where we could play in the snow when I was growing up. The big puffy flakes are the best.

Ive never seen a moose in person. I would love that.
