I was doing great... But
So I've been doing really well. Been clean for 3 months and 2 days as of today. So I decided to vacuum out my car today. While I was cleaning out from under the driver's seat I found an oxy. Should have sucked it up with the vacuum but didn't. I feel like such a piece of ****. It feels like it will NEVER end. So this is where I'm at right now.
Try and not beat yourself up - whats done is done.
You can absolutely get back now to working on your recovery, a little wiser - and making sure next time temptations put in your way you'll have a range of healthy clean options to choose from (like posting here first, thinking about what you should have done this time, or building a real life sober support network) rather than taking another pill
Active addiction can end - as long as we keep making new and different choies

I didn't become an addict overnight - and I didn't stop thinking like one for a while after I quit either.
Rather than thinking of this as some huge failure, maybe it's best to look at it as a reinforcement of your decision to be clean and sober.
If you're faced with temptation again you'll be able to call on this experience and pull a different outcome from it
