Take it easy on yourself sonkien. If it is getting serious, make sure you see a doctor about it.

It does get better. It may feel terrible, but it will pass just like everything else.

Try and get lots of rest, have water, take a little walk if you can get outside to somewhere nice.

Keep posting, we're with you mate.

Thanks for the support guys. Feeling hung over but able to manage right now, dreading tonight/ tomorrow morning, but I'm going to just deal with it. Just hoping to be able to get a little sleep tonight.

I went to an AA meeting the night of my first day without a drink. I never drank again.

Day 3 here. Felt decent yesterday and good today, just a never ending runny nose and difficulty sleeping but I managed to stay in bed long enough to get some sleep between the constant waking up and rotating positions. Had some insane itching last night while trying to sleep but I feel really good today and have been eating and drinking water and multivitamins.

Yesterday two coworkers invited me for a drink after work, one I used to have two beers with while playing Pokémon go at the beach, not getting drunk the other never hung out with. I had a legit excuse that I had to catch the last bus after work.

Also I announced to my other coworkers that this Thursday is my birthday hoping we could go out to eat something good, but I got like 7 offers to go get drinks T_T and a friend saw me walking to the bus stop 5 minutes ago and said we should get drinks soon.

I've never drank with any of these friends besides Pokémon go guy. I think my best way out is to let them know I have insomnia and I take Benadryl for it and can't mix, lets go eat instead?

@gottalife, I've gone to two AA meetings over a year ago and liked them. It would probably be in my best interest to check out another.
