Thank you Tommy. By the grace of a god I don't believe in or understand at the start, 37 years. I brought a little willingness to the table and He did the rest.

this brought me an excellent flashback. I was 37 when I got sober. there was an old fart at meetings that had some excellent knowledge, but what did he know- he was an old fart and didn't understand my young arse.
welp, up came his anniversary. he was 68 years old and celebrating 35 years sober. hhhmmm... he got sober at 33. gave me a lil willingness to accept he knows a thing or 2!
made me realize them old farts became old farts by getting sober.

3,15,30 days is an eternity.
and from what I hear, the 38th year is the toughest!

My grandmother always used to say the first hundred years are the hardest. She only made it to 97 so WTF did she know
